I had the pleasure of wrapping up an intensive deep-learning course for Master’s students!
Over three intense days, we dived deep (pun intended 😉 ) into the history of neural networks, from the perceptron in the 50s to the transformers architectures and LLM. The students explored and grasped the key advancements that have shaped this incredible field!
We tackled the mathematical foundations behind these models, covering concepts like chain rule, backpropagation through time, attention mechanisms, and so on!
After all that, they were able to challenge themselves on hands-on projects, implementing these concepts in real-world applications.
A big step toward becoming successful data scientists!
